Creating Customer Survey

Creating Custom Satisfaction Surveys.

  • While logged into your account click on the "Surveys" tab and click on "Create New Survey" in the sub menu. Next select the option "Start from Scratch" and click next at the bottom of the Screen.
  • Click on "Add Survey Question" On the next screen, enter in the question and choose the answer type to be used. Once finished with the question setup click save at the bottom of the screen. After saving the question, the program will redirect the page to the survey questions to begin adding another question to the survey.
  • Once the survey questions are created, click the "Next" button at the bottom of the page.
  • In the survey "Survey Name and Greeting" section, name the survey that being created and give survey page a name.
  • The "Enable Survey Greeting Message" section is used to add a custom survey greeting. Check the box next to "Enable Survey Greeting Message" to create a custom survey greeting message.
  • Next under the "Survey Progress & Paging Preferences", there is the option to display a progress bar at the top of the survey page and how many questions displayed on each page.
    • Use the drop down menu next to "Progress Display Options" to select the progress bar to be displayed at the top of the survey.
    • To select the number of questions per page use the drop down menu next to "  section and choose how many questions will be displayed on each page.
  • Next choose when to end the survey in the "Survey Completion Settings" section. Select a certain day to end the survey or after a certain number of responses have been received.
    • Select the dates by clicking in the field next to "
    • Or choose the number of responses required before ending the survey. Start by clicking the field next to "Automatically end survey after the following number of responses" then enter how many responses will be required before ending the survey.
    • Choose what kind of thank you message is sent after the survey is filled out. In the "After a responder fills out the survey, send them to" section. 
    • Using the drop down menu, choose weather or not to be notified after a survey has been completed. Check the box next to the notification type you would like to receive.
  • Click the "Next" button at the bottom of the screen.
  • The “Survey Invitation Email Details” section is used to create a survey invitation. This will be seen as the message body of the email that is sent to account contacts, similar to a feedback request email sent to agents.
    • In the "From Email" section enter an email address that will be shown as the sender, by clicking in the field and entering in the email address.
    • In the "Email Subject" section, click in the open field and enter the subject to be displayed in the survey email. 
    • In the "Email Message" section enter in the custom survey invitation to be displayed in the survey email.
    • The merge fields found to the right can be used to insert information from the account into the message body, to add one of these select the merge field and click "Insert" beneath the selections.
  • Next click on the "Preview and Select Contacts" button at the bottom of the screen. The next screen will give a preview of the survey intro;
    • Use the "Next" button to view the next page of the survey.
    • Click "Edit Survey" to make any edits.
    • If everything looks correct click the "Select Contacts" button. The program will then redirect the page to the contact list. Begin selecting who will receive this survey.
    • Once the contacts have been selected click on the button to "Send Survey Invitations" at the bottom of the page and send out the survey.
    • The survey is complete. The program will then be redirected to the “Surveys” page.
